As part of WORKS 2026, the BA in Visual Culture presents CORPUS: Making Visual Culture Public, a campus-wide series of interventions, panel discussion, workshops, and presentations. This eclectic programme showcases the research-driven practices emerging from the BA in Visual Culture, exploring the theme of corporeality in collaborative, experiential, and dynamic points of convergence.

EVENT: 'The Body Is The Only Site', live event and invitation to dance by graduates Elizabeth Leonard, Sadbh Maher, and Kate McGowan, with guest DJ Alba Molina @espurnagirl.
DATES: Friday, 5th June, 2026, 4 – 8 PM. (DJ set 7 PM – 8 PM) & Thursday 11th June, 4 – 8 PM.
LOCATION: Marquee, Grey Square, NCAD
DESCRIPTION: The Body Is The Only Site is an invitation to dance with us, an invitation to consider your phenomenal existence as the centre point around which all things unfold. Please join us for a dance in the Marquee, Grey Square, or take time to consider that you, in your consciousness, are the vessel for all knowledge; the only site. LINK

EVENT: 'Blindness Gain' Visually Impaired (VI) Simulation Glasses Tour.
DATE: Friday, 5th June, 10.30 AM – 6 PM (tours facilitated on the half-hour, every hour until 6pm). Each tour lasts approx. 10 mins.

EVENT: No-Sew Bookbinding Workshop with BA Visual Culture graduate Kelsey Duff.
DATE: Monday, 8th June 2026, 11 AM- 1 PM. Each book takes 20 minutes to make. Walk-ins are welcome.
LOCATION: NCAD Harry Clarke House Foyer.
DESCRIPTION: The No-Sew Bookbinding Workshop shows participants how to make a delightful palm-sized hardcover book using only paper and glue. No sewing needed! Anyone of any level of experience is welcome, including children 10+ (accompanied by an adult). The stall is open for walk-ins between 11am and 1pm, with room for one or two participants at a time. EVENT: Pop Star Medium Workshop with BA Visual Culture graduate Alisha Tsoumbou Ward. Walk-ins are welcome.
DATE: Friday, 12th June 2026, 2 PM- 3 PM. Each postcard takes 20 minutes to make, walk-ins are welcome.
LOCATION: NCAD Harry Clarke House Foyer.
DESCRIPTION: During the workshop, participants will be invited to make their own photocards, exploring the construction of ‘star image’ and what that reflects about contemporary attitudes towards fame and visibility. The resulting photocard is a portable token that sits between portrait, myth, and commodity. LINK
