CORPUS Critics Panel with panellists Aidan Kelly Murphy, Barbara Knežević, @Femmetellect, Alice Quinn Banville, and Rik Higashikawa. Organised and Chaired by BA Visual Culture graduates Cathan O’Loughlin and Eleanor McCarroll.

The CORPUS Critics Panel invites working and emerging art critics and cultural commentators to discuss the exhibitions on show at NCAD Works 2026, which will take place in the Harry Clarke Lecture Theatre at 5.30 pm - 7 pm on the 12th June 2026,

Our panel and audience will include a wide range of writers and critics from Paper Visual Arts magazine writers, online cultural commentators, Visual BA graduates, MA students and emerging critics working in the Dublin art scene. Event panellists include Aiden Kelly Murphy, Barbara Knežević, Áine Cassidy, @Femmetellec, Alice Quinn Banville, Rik Higashikawa, and will be chaired by two BA Visual Culture students, Cathan O’ Loughlin and Eleanor McCarroll. This will be approximately an hour long and will leave time for questions and discussion with the audience at the end.

Critics Panel Speakers

● Aiden Kelly Murphy is a working critic for PVA magazine
● Barbara Knežević is an artist, working critic for PVA magazine and lecturer at TUD.
● Áine Cassidy is a graduate of BA Visual Culture programme who has since been involved with Dublin Film Festival, The Lighthouse Youth Panel and in film writing.
● @Femmetellect on Instagram is an online cultural critic.
● Alice Quinn Banville works for Dublin Digital Radio.
● Rik Higashikawa is a research-driven artist and is the recruitment officer in Praxis Artist Union.

The CORPUS Critics Panel is part of CORPUS: Making Visual Culture Public, a series of interventions, panel discussion, workshops and presentations, presented by BA Visual Culture graduates for NCAD Works 2026.
