Attention! Conversation Needed
The Talk Stop explores conversation as an increasingly overlooked social skill. The ability to connect with others is often taken for granted as people become absorbed in the pace and pressures of daily life, forgetting to offer one another time, attention, and compassion.
While conversation is generally considered straightforward, some people engage easily in “the chats”, while others overthink social interaction and shy away from forming these fundamental human connections. This disconnect can have a damaging effect on the essential human need for connection.
The project aims to revitalise conversation and return human connection to its simplest form. Through a bold visual identity, The Talk Stop seeks to interrupt routine, encourage interaction, and invite people to pause amidst the busyness of everyday life.
A simple conversation can go a long way — it may even lead to the most meaningful connection of your life.
