This project documents a three-month period in early 2026, when I left Dublin and moved back in with my parents in Castleblayney, County Monaghan, for the first time in over a decade.

Living in my childhood home again in my thirties brought with it a feeling of estrangement, where things felt simultaneously familiar and strange. I became aware that this temporary upheaval in my life offered an opportunity to see my parents, their life together, and their idiosyncrasies from a new perspective.

I wanted to create a record of this period with my parents, knowing it may be the last time we all live together.
