Combining the deeply ordinary with the surreal, Jonah and the Space Whale is a work that comes from the heart: an exploration of what it means to be human.

I have always been fascinated by ancient cultures and science fiction novels. "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", "Dune", and "There Are Rivers in the Sky" all influenced the final outcome of this piece.

The Bible is central to my faith, and, for me, one of the joys of Christianity is engaging creatively with biblical stories. I wanted to explore the story of Jonah imaginatively while remaining faithful to its core message. I hope you enjoy it.
