Strong Beginnings is a pregnancy leotard specifically designed to support mothers experiencing pelvic girdle pain. Empathy was central to this project, as I worked closely with several mothers in order to better understand their needs and experiences. Through this process, I identified gaps in existing medical products, particularly in relation to the needs of underprivileged mothers, which are often overlooked in standard support garments such as pelvic braces.

Through Strong Beginnings, I was able to address many of the issues raised during conversations with both physiotherapists and mothers. The result is a product that responds to a genuine need while addressing an area often overlooked within mainstream healthcare.
