Eco-Conscious Art Practice
I am a mixed-media artist working at the crossroads of material memory and ecological responsibility. My practice begins with listening.
The eco-art experience blends visual art, craft, environmental education, and wellbeing. I work with everyday organic materials such as tea, coffee, turmeric, and salt, allowing their natural pigments to stain and flow across reclaimed paper alongside charcoal, watercolour, soft pastel, and graphite pencil. The studio extends beyond four walls into streets, shorelines, and forest floors, where matter is constantly in flux. This offers space, rhythm, and freedom for everyone to engage in their own way.
I invite viewers to slow down, reconsider waste, and rediscover their role within a shared ecosystem. Ultimately, my work is both practical and conceptual, informing how materials are sourced and used. The aim is to create calm, accessible creative experiences that help people slow down, reconnect with nature, and explore art in a sustainable, mindful, and welcoming environment.
