Work and Eaten Through

Inherited cashmere garments form the material basis of my work: a constellation of holes produced by moths determines how the material hangs, filters light, and holds space.

The installation is a low, shared environment. Viewers enter by slightly bowing and move through layered openings formed from the necklines of the garments. Colour and density shift throughout, while the weight of the cashmere softens sound and creates a close, insulated atmosphere.

A reworked garment invites a shared gesture, bringing two bodies into contact within the structure.
