The Ouroboros: A Journey Towards the Divine Feminine
The Ouroboros: A Journey Towards the Divine Feminine is a multidisciplinary art project consisting of a selection of illustrated tarot cards developed as part of a proposed full tarot deck, a symbolic Ouroboros mirror installation, and an accompanying guidebook. The project explores themes of self-discovery, transformation, shadow integration, and the Divine Feminine through mythology, symbolism, and storytelling. Inspired by tarot traditions, goddess mythology, and personal research, the cards reinterprets figures such as Lilith, Nyx, Sirona, and Nike through a contemporary lens.
The Ouroboros Mirror extends these ideas into a three-dimensional form drawing on symbolism from the goddesses Lilith, Ishtar/Inanna, Persephone and Hecate, encouraging reflection on both the physical and psychological self. The accompanying guidebook documents the symbolism embedded throughout the project and provides interpretations of the cards and mirror. Together, these elements create an interconnected body of work exploring personal growth, cycles of transformation, and the process of embracing all aspects of the self.
