Confronting a Crisis

Ireland’s housing crisis is affecting record numbers of people in 2026, and with a constant barrage of information and opinion surrounding the issue, its causes can often become obscured. This project seeks to make understanding the crisis more accessible to the public by breaking down its key causes and encouraging active participation in creating change. Through three interconnected works, it examines the issues of high demand, limited supply, and access to affordable land.

SUPPLY is an ongoing commitment to increasing housing supply and challenging shortages through collective action.

IN DEMAND is a publication exploring the rich history of derelict homes across Ireland, highlighting their potential as future homes for those affected by the crisis.

Finally, ACCESS is an app-based game that reveals the scale of land ownership held by Ireland’s major housing developers, allowing users to locate these sites and raise awareness of their potential use.
