Alternative Routes
An experience of Dublin’s bus system is rarely just about getting from A to B.
This campaign explores where frustration meets familiarity, and strangers become a quiet collective. Within this imperfect system, something else emerges: a shared rhythm of lived experience.
The project is both individual and communal, rooted in everyday encounters and shaped by the unpredictability of public transport. Beneath the humour and complaint lies something more connective between us all. By reframing these fleeting moments, the work celebrates the unsung voices that move through Dublin each day, because within the system’s imperfections there is meaning, memory, and a shared sense of belonging unique to the city.
