Confessions Through Colour
My current practice centres on the exploration of childhood memory and personal relationships, using colour as a means of expressing complex emotional connections. The works are not intended as direct representations, but rather as interpretations of memory and relational experience. Colour functions as a way of conveying feelings embedded within these relationships, while also serving as a mode of storytelling.
Through this process, I aim to translate intricate interpersonal dynamics into a unified visual language that can be interpreted through the audience’s own perspectives and associations. In this way, the paintings seek to foster a sense of familiarity and connection grounded in everyday moments and intimate human relationships, while also emphasising the subjective nature of colour and its capacity for personal interpretation.
