This project seeks to draw people together and encourage physical affection through the human touch seen in the work. It examines how intimate connection is negotiated in a time of social and physical isolation; the simple acts of intimacy that are often overlooked.

The pieces may necessitate the owner to include another person in the act of wearing their jewellery, due to their connective designs and with forms that reference the hands and mouth.

Working with natural beeswax and the lost-wax casting method, I shape each piece by hand, using my own hands, fingerprints and bite marks to include myself, the maker, directly in the relationship of the jewellery and the wearer.
