Palimpsest of Age
This collection explores the philosophy of ageing as a physical accumulation of memory, deeply inspired by the life of my grandmother. By translating the desiccated textures of dried flowers and the shifting landscapes of skin into voluminous garments, the work treats fabric as a sedimentary record of time.
The pieces are constructed through organic gathering and the stacking of heavy materials to manifest the weight of passing years. Each silhouette serves as a tactile study of maturation and growth, designed for those who find beauty in preservation rather than perfection. Ultimately, these works function as a living archive, capturing the quiet strength found in the marks that time leaves behind.
