COMPUTATIONAL_SALVATION

Specialising in the production of glitch audio-visual installation
pieces, my work is inspired by club culture, the influence
of digital spaces and media, along with concepts
such
as ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

The work takes on the form of a spectacle, a modern spiritual ———————
premonition, presenting itself as a multi channel video on retro CRT————-
screens and studio monitors accompanied by experimental electronic house
music. §§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§

“COMPUTATIONAL_SALVATION” is a memetic, paranoiac-critique on the growing appeal of transhumanist philosophy and its leading proponent, Ray Kurzweil. The work speculates that the decline of third spaces along with the social and psychological consequences of our screen-centric world, has functioned as a premeditated tactic of techno-feudalist propaganda. Conditioning society towards desensitisation, nihilism and an increasing preference for virtual environments over physical reality.
