Fashion Individuality
'Fashion Individuality' examines how clothing serves as a potent means of self-expression, communicating everything from political viewpoints and cultural identity to pure creativity. This exploration of fashion individuality is presented through three distinct formats, each featuring interviews with seven individuals;
Zine: Introduces the seven interviewees
Website: Functions as a community platform for users to share their personal style and
journeys, connect with others, and features illustrative work alongside the interviews
Animation: An animated version of the Zine cover that incorporates movement, mirroring
the dynamic nature of fashion itself.
The work created takes a colourful, bold, and modern approach, aiming to express the liberation found in embracing one's authentic self. This stands in contrast to the limitations often imposed by fashion trends, which tend to be neutral and restrictive. Following these trends feels akin to wearing a mask or a costume—adopting a borrowed identity instead of revealing your true self.
